I AM STILL THE CLUELESS DISCIPLE
Not knowing the next step can feel overwhelming, but I’m learning again what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. After an unexpected visa denial forced me to leave Greece and the Bluewater DTS sooner than planned, God gently redirected me back to England to focus on new projects and fresh direction—reminding me that even detours are part of His design, and that trusting Him step-by-step is the real adventure.
QUICK UPDATES
Life on the Next Wave has been full speed ahead—serving as purser, launching new maritime training programs, and preparing the next generation of students for life and mission at sea. From hands-on sail training to graduations and new outreach opportunities, God continues to grow both the crew and the vision, reminding me that even in the busyness, He is faithfully equipping us to bring hope to the world’s forgotten shores.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO IT ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
Some weeks the weight of responsibility and sacrifice feels heavy, and I find myself wondering what life might have looked like if I had chosen the easier path back home. Yet even in the homesickness and hard days, God keeps reminding me that obedience is worth it. As we train and disciple future crew for the ships ministries, I’m learning again that His strength—not mine—is what sustains this calling, and that everything we do is ultimately for His glory.
I’M BACK!
After nearly a month at sea, stepping back on solid ground reminded me how every detail—big or small—is in God’s hands. From a last-minute flight that perfectly aligned with His timing to reconnecting with family in Kansas City, and now settling into Harpenden to develop training for YWAM’s growing ships ministries, I’m seeing again that ministry happens in every interaction, every planning session, and every faithful step of trust.
