A city worth 40,000...
Some cities have a way sticking in your memory forever. The aroma of bread baking; street performers exhausted from a day's work; architecture that takes you back in time. Rome. It's a city that I proudly spent about 40,000 steps per day exploring and still didn't see everything my heart desired.Arriving back to the first world, after five months of being in Malawi, I was able to enjoy an unexpected weekend in Rome, Italy, in route to Spain. The majority of my time was spent walking the streets, absorbing the gorgeous culture, and being blown away by the ever-increasingly beautiful, man-made structures. Even my best attempts to capture the stunning nature of the ancient city were shattered by their grand design and elaborate intricacy.
